What do Bill Gates, Angelina Jolie, Richard Branson, and Oprah Winfrey have in common? Other than the fact that they are famous and are big personal brands, these four people are givers. They work hard in their business but they don't forget to give back to the community.
You may not be as famous as these people (yet), but that shouldn't stop you from doing something for others.
Volunteer your time:
Look for non-profit organisations that need your expertise and spend some time helping them out.
Give referrals:
Referring people to those who need their services without expecting a commission is a great way to give back.
Support someone's business:
You don't have to spend money to support a business. Your support can be as simple as following their social media accounts or liking and sharing their posts.
Donate:
You can try to partner with organisations and donate a certain percentage of your annual income to support their cause.
Give a testimonial:
Sharing your feedback helps businesses improve their products or services and at the same time, it can attract new clients.
Ask them:
The simple question, "How can I help you?" is enough for people to know that they can count on you if they have questions about the industry you're in.
How about you? How do you help others without expecting anything in return?
